Mondeo Mk4 headlight connector

Featured Replies

I can’t for the life of me work out how to disconnect the headlight wiring connector from my 2010 Titanium X Sport. I thought getting the headlight assembly out would be the hard bit, but I can’t work out how to unplug the connector to allow me extract the headlight from the car. Any suggestions please?

thanks,

Adam

Sorry - Xenon bulbs - and it’s the actual electrical connector I can’t unplug.

After much research, eventually found out my clip was broken. No wonder I couldn’t get it off!!

Now for a bit more research to find out how to finally get it disconnected.

Found out eventually, retaining clip was broken. Managed to get a bead of clear sealant around the circumference without taking the headlight completely off the car. Seems to have done the trick
