new to the group so please be kind 🙂

yes I have done a quick search but can’t find what I need. 
 

went to fill car with diesel the other day but couldn’t open the fuel flap. I did the google search and seems it’s the solenoid. 
 

how do you strip the boot out to gain access to it? Looked on YouTube but couldn’t find anything  

just want to remove it to fill it. 300 miles in tank will last me about a week lol

    Is there a better video as this one doesn't have much detail on the trim removal. Does anyome know if it is covered in the Haynes Manual?

    I've the same filler flap issue.

    The plastic side trim is just held on with screws.  You should be able to see them all visually.  Likely to be Torx screws but may be crosshead.
