Not too bothered about replacing with a price like that. Though I'd be a bit concerned about leaving the hinge mech exposed to grit & salt long term. Edge of Reason Posted April 17, 2022 Share Posted April 17, 2022 I’d be inclined to replace it. The hinge mechanism in the MK1 is clever as it has the double tailgate/window hatch mechanism.
