Ford KA water leak

Hi All,

New to the club, I have a KA 2013 Edge which has developed a water leak - well I think its water with doing any further checks.

The leak starts as soon as I start the engine.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

    Does the leak start higher up and drip down, or is it only there?

    That's the exhaust which should have mainly gasses flowing through it, but will have a little condensation from the air too.  

    From those pictures, the best guess would be a leaking exhaust joint rather than a water leak.  Does it sound a bit louder and rougher than before?

    I will have to try and check if it is only appearing at the exhaust joint.

    I'll put a tray underneath and some paper towels just to see if it is water or any other different coloured liquid

    Engine and general noise sounds about the same as before, only noticed this a few days ago as  I don't really drive the KA very much therefore not sure how long this has been going on for.

    I will report back as soon as I find something out.
