Hello all,

A friend of mine has told me to change the air filter on my 1.4 LX to an induction kit as the standard one is rubbish. I know that an improved induction kit increases the air flow into the engine an in turn increasinf performance slightly but has said that it has improved fuel economy as well.

I dont really want the induction kit as i dont want to have the induction kit noise but would a panel filter be any better than standard?

    Yeah the lex will be giving way, i should be swapping over on saturday.

    Do have any good DYI link for induction kits? I am having a long vacation this month & I am really planning to learn something during this long time.
