Help with ignition barrel and key 2009 cmax the last 2 letters on engineer code matter

Featured Replies

Do the last 2 digits on a ignition barrel matter  3m51-3f880- is the 2 1st parts of code do the last 2 letters matter

Last 2 letters are a 'batch, revision, date' type information. Normally if a replacement has letters which are higher than the original there is not a problem.
