How to reactivate rear parking sensors

Featured Replies

Hello to all.

Just bought a 2018 B-Max Titanium Ecoboost petrol model.  The previous owner had a towbar fitted.  We have a rear view camera - everything works, no problems there.  However the rear parking sensors do not work (no beep beep).  I guess the previous owner regularly used the tow bar and found how to deactivate the sensors, but for us this will not be the case.  There is no dedicated commutator on the dash area.  Any ideas how to get the sensors up and running again?  The car is in very good condition, so I do not think it is a technical fault - much more likely there is a procedure to deactivate them.  Thanks for any help you can give me.  Best wishes from France!
