How to operate electrical systems (Windows, Sat Nav etc) without having to start the engine

Featured Replies

Can anyone please let me know How to operate electrical systems (Windows, Sat Nav etc) without having to start the engine

Have not had the car long and this is driving me nuts!

Have never had this conundrum before on any other cars I have owned so any help or advice would be gratefully received!

Thanks in advance

Terry

Just press the start/stop button without putting your foot on the brake/clutch. That just puts the ignition on.

Also if you just want the radio or satnav on at anytime without the ignition you can just press the on/off (volume) knob on the radio.

... unless the battery is too low on voltage.
