Quite frightening to say the least! 123k service history in part.  All dash lights come on and engine shuts down. If you leave it for 10 minutes it starts ok until the next time it happens.  Your enlightened comments please.  Thank you.

    Time for some logical fault finding.

    You need a laptop and download the software FORScan (its free) also you need a good connection lead. Then you will be able to read any stored DTC's.

    Is the engine petrol or diesel ? Gearbox auto or manual ? Trans 2WD or AWD ?

    Sounds like some kind of sensor fault. If it was a faulty part, then it would be unlikely to start again. Sensors however can cause a shut down then clear themselves. That being said I’ve no idea what sensor it could be. Glad to be of help 😂.
