Ford Kuga Replacement Key

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So I happen to work for the police, I usually place my car keys in my locker but for some unknown reason to me I completely forgot to do that and took them out on shift with me. Throughout the night I've had to give chase and in the heat of the moment I appear to have lost my keys for my Ford Kuga (19 plate). I've searched high and low for them but they have gone sadly, my house keys included. Thankfully no identifying information was on the key ring so I'm not hugely concerned more upset at the fact that I've lost them.

I've managed to locate my spare key and get my car home but my question regards getting a replacement key - I presume that this will need to go through the dealership and if so can anyone give any idea of cost?

Thank you in advance!

Try your car insurance policy, many now include  'lost key' cover. It will be surprisingly very expensive to replace likely to be £200 to £300!

Oh, and I hope when you caught the ***** you gave them a good seeing to!
