Recently got a 2017 mondeo , and was testing out the alarm on it , if I leave a window open when I lock the car and open the door from the Inside the alarm triggers , but nothing happens if u wave my hand in front of the sensors inside the car even when they are activated, its set to full guard,  but only goes off if I open door from inside movement does nothing. Can anyone help me out cheers

    Unless you 'Double Lock' the doors - which you haven't since you can open them from the inside, the ultrasonic sensors will not be armed (assuming your model has them fitted - Not all models do).

    I've noticed today that Ford UK have messed about with the owners manuals and are now only providing the North America online version which is misleading on a large number of points.
