Air bag light

Featured Replies

Hi all , I have 2009 2.0 TDCI titanium X and have had an air bag light coming on intermittently for about 6 months. This first became apparent after my battery died about 6 months ago and I replaced the battery , so I put it down to the low voltage form the dying battery and just put off getting it reset.

However fast forward too now and I took it to the garage who plugged it in and it came back with code : B1126 - 11 drivers side , side air bag deployment control circuit short to ground. I’ll be honest I have no clue what to make of that? I know there can be issues with the connections under the seat and I’ve had a look but nothing jumps out at me!

any suggestions welcome!

thanks
