Wing mirror replacement

Featured Replies

Hi all, new to the forum but in dire need of help.  My daughter has a 2016 for ka+ zetec.  I am trying to replace her drivers side electric mirror but can't get the inner door panel off.  I have taken out the 4 screws but the panel won't budge.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

If you're sure all screws are out, you now need to pry the edges of the panel out, as it is held by plastic clips.  Starting at the bottom is usually best.

Hi I could only find 4 screws,  2 at bottom, 1 behind door handle and 1 in panel at elec mirror controls,  I'll try get a set of plastic prys and see how it goes.  Thanks for advice

You can just use a normal flat-blade in the bottom if you're careful.  Once it's started, you can get your fingers in for the more visible parts on the sides.
