Malfunction

Hi, has anyone come across where you get an alert on the dashboard complaining about their Front lights malfunction?

It's been like this on and off for years and I've never been able to figure out what exactly the issue is, the lights still work fine, no bulbs are out or sitting incorrectly either, I'm stumped 🤷‍♂️

The fault is something that only ever seems to happen on Mondeo's

Do you have 'adaptive headlights' ?    --- The adaptive lights are failing to move left and right when turning.

OR

Does this fault happen if you have more weight in the back of the car ?  ---  Auto level for when the vehicle is carrying more load is not working. Sensor is at the rear near the exhaust pipe.

Hmmm, I will check. Also I should have mentioned this as well but my headlights always look quite dim when I'm out at night. Is this just the way it is?
