2011 mondeo 1.6 tdci coolant leak

As is always the way day before heading off camping I noticed empty expansion tank quickly traced the leak to thermostat housing. Popped down to my local euro car parts only to find out they don’t sell them.(strange since they are known for failing) anyway got away camping for a few days topping coolant up and ordered complete housing off eBay for £25 quality seemed reasonable when it arrived. Quick easy job to fit and no more coolant leaks.😁. Latest failure on my mondeo with 192,000 miles. I wonder what will be next.lol
