roof bar/rack question

i have a 2017 mondeo titanium 2 ltr diesel,i want to put a roof rack on it,i seen a hole with a plastic plug over each door,just on hole at each point,i took out one of the plastic plugs,thinking there was some sort of a thread to fit a screw/bolt,but theirs nothing,its just hollow,are these hole points for a roof rack?any help please welcome,thanks
