Touchscreen SD card sat nav (pic attached) 

How do i add a via point? 

Example : I am navigating to my house, and I want to go home VIA tesco. All other sat navs can do this. 

Secondary question is about the POI list - it doesn't have supermarkets / food shops on it - can I add to the POI list by writing to the sd card in a pc? It only has "shopping centres" thats it for shops.

    No you can not alter the information on the SD card.

    I don't think you can....at least I've never tried. Do you have the manual/handbook?

    In my vehicle you add your final destination then search for another one then it gives me the option to add as a way point or change destination. Will try get pics next time I'm out. 

    My sat nav is inbuilt without the SD card don't know if that makes a difference.

    My satnav is different to yours, but may have some similarities.  I find the POI function very poor on mine.  But I can search by name, so you may find it by searching this way. Trouble is it will find 200 Tescos ! 

    I can add a waypoint on mine fairly easily though. as above. But rather unhelpfully the arrival time shown is the time you'll arrive at the intermediate point.
