Coolant question.

Haynes says that my 1.3 Duratec-engined 56 reg Ka should use either blue/green or Orange coolant but the coolant in my engine is pink. Is this a problem as I would like to top up after a temperature sensor O ring replacement but don't want to cause myself any problems. I know orange coolant is "OAT" and blue green typically Ethylene Glycol but what is pink pls and is it compatible thanks.

stick with the pink which looks more red in a new container when you buy it

Thanks I will - it looks pretty clean so this advice makes sense.

Thanks for your reply - today I got 2 litres of concentrated OAT coolant from Halfords so that will allow most of a complete change (4l) and the removed coolant will do for top-ups.
