Upper sump oil leak help please

Hi all newbie but hope some may help my 2012 tdci with 60k kuga has developed a very slow oil leak Couple of drips when left over night looking under the cat it looks to be leaking from a aluminum casting between the sump pan and the block can any let me know if this is a common fault and is there any surprises doing the job myself looks simple just the sump pan off then the aluminum casting reseal and replace or dose every thing fall out of the engine when removed I have attached a photo bit hard to see any help would be very appreciated thanks Lee
