My stop start is not working,

search the couple of hundred threads on this forum for the answer.

There are approximately 147 inhibitors that will prevent the Stop/Start system from operating. One of the most common issues is a low state of charge of the car battery.

If the external temp is showing an excessively high or low temp the SS may not work.

Did the temp issue only start after changing the battery?  Sometimes they take a few days to settle.

Did you battery reding resset? Maybe car stil think its bad battery...

I have been driving last three years a new Focus 1.0 ecoboost, and SS doesn't worked about three months in the second year, I don't know why. After that, it worked again, without any servicing.

Apart from that: the first 10/15 minutes of usage the SS doesn't works, because the battery isn't fully charged, engine is cold, etc.

And I have a question: every time the engine stops and start, the oil pump stops, so the engine has an extra engine wear on every start due to no lubrication on the top of the engine (mainly camshaft)... I'm wrong?

Never work’s for long and is a useless gimmick anyway. Live without it I say👍

Anyway you have warm engine and oil so on start/stop lubrication is fast enough to prevent wear, cold start in the morning is biger pain but also everything is oily enough from damage. Hot engine and poor lubrication is killer.

Allso biger wear on starter than engine.

...and the battery I think

Well I see that obviously none of the answers or comments were to @Jochris liking 😧. It's always interesting to see when a new member posts a question (26th Sept) and then checks back  (28th Sept) but makes no comment about what has been said.

Modern oils cling to surfaces better than older oils.  Bearings are also now made with 'slippery' coatings similar to your non stick frying pan.

My car has done 10 years and over 100k on the original starter with SS working fine.

Stop start isn't as bad for engines as the internet would have you believe.

Ford are taking no chances, that's why their system very rarely works 🤣
