Sync won't load after master reset

Featured Replies

After performing a master reset on my 2019 Kuga sync it won't load anything past the ford logo screen, I can see the screen is still lit up and the reverse camera still works along with the usb ports. Voice control and Android auto do not work but the radio is playing but I am unable to change stations, only the volume works.

I have tried taking the fuse out, disconnecting the battery, doing a sync update with usb and soft reset. Has anyone had this issue and managed to resolve it or offer any guidance as what to try to fix?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The usual recovery from this kind of situation is to disconnect the negative battery lead for 20 to 30 minutes.

If that fails then I'm afraid it's a trip to the Ford dealers and open the wallet !!!
