Good day all.

I recently changed the car battery on my MK4 Mondeo 2013. Eversince the long press of the lock button on my fob is not pulling up the windows. Same thing with the open button of the fob won't open the windows. Is there a way to fix it without being booked in to a dealer? Please bare in mind that the car starts with the power button. Any help is appreciated.

Global opening will likely need to be reset after a car battery change. If you have access to your owners manual, you'll find out how to do it in there. You shouldn't have to go to a dealer, however, if you had the battery professionally replaced, may be worth going back and asking if they can reset the global opening/closing function.

On each door individually, or if you're good at holding all four buttons together:

Run the window up, let go of button

Hold up button for 6 seconds and then lower glass, release button

Hold down button for 6 seconds and release

Repeat x4
