CMax 2013 front side light replacement

I would like to meet the ‘apprentice’, it must be an apprentice because of the crazy design, that cobbled together the front side light connection and holder, are Ford breeding very small engineers with tiny but powerful hands that can get inside the light cluster to remove, replace and refit the tiny side light bulbs? 
     Is there a ‘special’ ford tool that can do this? If there is how many £100’s of pounds is it? 
Anyone had the wonderful experience of doing this that would like to write a book about it?

Has the tab snapped off or do you just have chubby fingers?  

Removing the headlight makes it easier.  And using pliers gives extra purchase on the tab.
