Afternoon all, Had my 2008 mk2.5 focus for 2 years and have followed the forum for advise,,,,,,now need some !!!

 

What is the best elm adaptor to purchase that will communicate at the 500k as i have read a lot on here about failed purchases,

If you want the best that will do your 2008 model right through to 2022 and beyond then you need the new:

Thank's for the info, Looking to do some mods using fordcom elmconfig,,,does the vgate communicate with the 2.17/b.c download.

 

 

Never used Fordcom, like most on this forum FORScan is the normal choice for mods, and diagnostics.

ELMConfig was needed to make modifications on the Mk2.5 Focus a few years ago.  I don't know if FORScan has since been updated to include those on Mk2.5?

I probably wouldn't bother with the VGate unless you're expecting to own much newer Fords in future.
