ENGINE CUT OUT ON 2004 MONDEO 2 LITRE PETROL

Featured Replies

Have a problem with my one owner 45k miles MONDEO GHIA - 2004.

If I start it up and wait for a minute or so till the needle comes off cold and drive away, the car will run all day and NOT cut out

If I start it up and run the engine for however long it will Not cut out at all

BUT if I start it up and immediately drive away, when I get to the first corner to turn and slow down/come to a halt it DOES cut out

I love the car and want to keep it, but have spent way more than it is actually worth at main dealers/Ford specialists, I am at a loss to know what to do next.

Anyone had similar issues, and more importantly, been able to FIX it??????

Thanks
