Morning all,

Decided to join this forum as I'm currently looking into purchasing a 1998 1.8 Focus Ghia Estate as a second/project car. It needs a little work but nothing that my mate and I can't put right.

    I haven't quite bought it yet, but I know the seller and had been considering it for some time.

    It needs work, but nothing that I won't struggle with I don't think. I've got a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to all this car lark, doing most of my repairs myself. 

    My mate has the unit - for the welding. We both agree that it would be worthwhile saving given how thin on the ground the S-registered ones are around this area.
