Hi guys…I am looking for a replacement off-side puddle light….the round  puddle light under the mirror works perfectly….some white-van man took a corner to wide last night and clonked my mirror!🤬, but never stopped….there is no damage to the mirror other than this long puddle light not working now….I will probably have to buy both, but only really need this off- side one.

Any help/advice on where to get a replacement will be much appreciated.

You say "long" puddle light. Do you mean the round lamp under the mirror that comes on when the car is unlocked, or do you mean the long strip built into the front of the mirror, which is actually the indicator repeater? From experience, the indicator is usually the thing that gets broken if the mirror is hit. If the indicator isn't working when you switch the hazards on then it will need replacement. I would also replace it if it's cracked, as that can allow moisture into the unit causing it to discolour or fail later. 

Replacement indicator strips are about £20 - £30 for a pattern part from ebay, or £65 for a genuine part from Ford. 

If it is actually the round puddle light under the mirror, then you can get LED replacements from ebay. These provide a brighter and whiter light than the normal bulbs fitted in the standard units. 

Replacement of either the puddle light or indicator is straightforward - there are plenty of YouTube videos for both. 

Hi…erictcleric….my mistake my friend… it’s not the puddle light, it’s the O/S wing mirror side indicator…I have sourced and bought a replacement, just waiting for delivery, then I will fit it…cheers mate
