Reduced electric mileage since recall

Featured Replies

I have a Ford Kuga PHEV, It has recently been in for a recall that I understand was to do with the charging pack. Before the car went in, a fully charged battery would provide circa 40 miles driving which was perfect, since the recall, this has reduced to circa 20 miles which is rubbish, is this the same for all Kuga's after the recall ?

Has this coincided with the cold weather, or did you notice the difference during the same temperatures?

I noticed the reduction pre the cold weather, I got the car back from the repair shop on 16th Nov, J don’t think it was that cold then.

You did well getting 40 miles from a charge. Normally it's around 30-35 in the summer and winter more like 25. Ive seen fully charged kugas show 39 miles but as soon as you put heating on and move 100metres it's showing 27 miles.

I find it remarkable they get 100 metres. A pack of 10 rechargeable AA's are not the most durable things 😉
