Xenon headlight

Featured Replies

Hi guys just wondering if someone can give me a bit of advice I have a 2012 titanium x sport mondeo and I have a problem with the drivers side low beam not working the car is equipped from factory with xenon lights. If I switch the headlight to the passenger side it works so that rules out ballast and bulb, I don't have a switching live on the driver's side. I can't find a fuse for the low beam in the car(I know other cars have an individual fuse for either side). If anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram or if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it

Thanks

The low beam headlight circuit is controlled by the GEM (or BCM) on your model and is not fused.

Usual problem is corrosion of the connector pins on the plugs. Disconnect the battery negative before removing the connectors and checking.

This is the schematic for a 2014 Mondeo (sorry don't have your exact year)

Hi thanks for the information it's the same loom in the 2012 went through the wiring loom no problems there did find the body control module was burnt on the headlight pins. I've sent the BCM for repair hopefully it'll all work out. If not its a trip to the scrapys
