"Warm" Starting Problem In 60-Plate Mondeo

Hi,

My Mondeo starts fine, when it’s cold - really cold - or when it’s hot, as in right after stopping or even if it’s been parked for 10-15 minutes.

However, if it has been sat for a couple of - or more - hours, it won’t start.

Everything seems normal; it turns over. All the lights come on, but it just won’t start.

Also, the display shows the report, "Engine Malfunction".

Two AA men and my local garage have been baffled by the problem.

Any suggestions/help would be gratefully received.

Thanks, Phil

Use FORScan to read the DTC's logged which should help identify the issue.
