Hey all

I have a mondeo tit x sport 2013

ive just had a new fuel pump, oil fiter and fuel filter done and my mpg and miles to empty is still showing - - - - on my dashboard. when the car starts it shows for about a minute but but driving more than that it just goes - - - - 

ive taken it to a local garage but they dont know what is causing it or how to fix it and i just wondered if anyone had this problem and found a cure please?

Does the normal fuel gauge still work ?

Do you get a low fuel warning light (if fitted) when the tank is nearly empty ?

thanks for your reply. yes the fuel gauge works and yes the low fuel warning still comes on. 

Possibly a loss of comms with a sensor.

Use FORScan to check for DTC's and comms errors.
