I've got a 2008 mk4 Mondeo tdci 140, and would like to ask if I were to upgrade the current battery to an AGM, is there anything that needs to be reprogrammed or altered for it to fully work.

I know the facelifted models ie MK4.5 have a BMS system that you need to alter. What about the older mk4's anything that I need and must do?

    There is no BMS on the 2008 models.
