I have a 2008 C Max 1.8 tdci when it is parked the battery goes flat in about 3 to 4 hours. Called RAC out and found the cable where all the glow plugs join onto a small screw was getting hot and melted the plastic.Have put new battery on disconnected the alternator and taken glow plug relay out but still goes flat. Tried to do a drain test on the battery earth cable and battery earth but can't get any readings. Been trying to find the glow plug control module but no joy in finding it. Any body know where it is even Ford didn't know.
