Just popped over from the Focus forum.  I'm thinking of buying a used 2015 Mondeo hybrid. Are they OK? What sort of mpg is likely?

And is there anything particular that I should look out for when I view it?

The efficiency and performance aren't great. If you want a good hybrid, buy Toyota (even if they are a little dull).

Do you mean general elect. problems that could affect any Mondeo, or specifically related to the hybrid drive system?

I dont know the hybrid version, i like the mondeo it is realy nice to drive but i have electrical failers in the car and the ford dealer can not fix it, i see that a lot of ford owners have electrical problems

Alan. If its a hybrid you want then Lexus is the way to go. I've had 2x is300h and a RX450H. Both were stunning cars. Reliable? You bet. The most reliable. 

Hi Tazzman, I am fine thank you - just a lot older. After my 2015 Mk5 titanuim 2 litre ecoboost petrol, fully loaded, Ford could offer me no more in the Mondeo models - I only do petrol and expected at least a 2 litre with 8 speed auto but it never came so I ended up moving over to BMW in 2019. I am very happy with what I have now - 280 mile trip to my daughters in Cornwall, only 4 hours and it returns 46mpg
