Esp - Safe To Continue To Drive?

Featured Replies

Ok, whilst on holiday the imfamous 'ESP Fault' appeared on my 2006 45k miler Focus 1.8 Zetec Climate - as I was in the wilds of Wales I just continued thinking that is was a small fault, but know I see all sorts of postings about it being related to the ABS system and Ford chanrging £1300 to rectify!!!

As I need to be in work this week am I safe to drive to work for a week or so - I must admit through hilly countryside with a mumber of tight bends. Also can non-Ford dealers undertake the necessary work?

Thanks from a newbie

the fault can be linked to the abs, only somebody who has diagnosed the fault can say wheather its safe to drive.
