Ricky dee
Hi new on here, recently my daughter purchased a 2012 1.2 Ka and the car dealership changed the timing belt but not the water pump and when I asked them why they never done water pump they said it didn't need to be replaced at the same time, could someone let me know if this is correct please, thanks in advance
unofix
It's normally replaced for convenience, but there is nothing says it has to be replaced. Many engines go there whole life with the original water pump.
