Hi All,

Just realised I've started posting here but haven't properly introduced myself. I'm Nick, from south east London.

I've been driving Ford's since I started driving, started with a '95 MK3 Fiesta 1.1, then a '00 MK5 Fiesta 1.25, then onto my current '07 Fiesta ST150. Purchased in 2011 at 29k miles, I've just ticked over 106k in her and will never get rid of her. Since taking on ownership, she's fully polybushed, Koni STR-T struts, Eibach Pro Kit springs, Powerflex engine and gearbox mount inserts, vibratechnics lower gearbox mount, full Milltek exhaust (421 manifold, sports cat, non resonated rear section), and a PAS cooler. I had a mate who runs a local vinyl firm replicate the factory stripes as this one was naked from the factory, and interior wise I've chucked Mondeo MK3 premium speakers in, and a Sony XAV-AX3005db. I'm sure there's more I've done and forgotten!!!

Back in 2014 I decided the Fiesta was too harsh for daily driving (I'm getting old and knackered) so ended up purchasing a BMW E46 330d M-Sport Touring as my daily driver which served me well right up until the start of this year where I caved and sold due to the threat of expanding ULEZ. So off the BMW went, and along came my new daily - a '13 Focus Titanium X Estate 1.0. She was on 48k miles when I bought her from a local-ish independent Ford franchise who have looked after the car for the past 5 years, and due to the age the garage replaced the wet belt before sale. It's quite pokey for what it is, more tech than the BMW had and is quiet and comfortable, just what I need in a daily. Titanium X gives me active park assist, Sony stereo, multicoloured ambient lighting, cruise, xenons etc, and this one came with reverse camera as well.

Not looking to do anything to the Focus - it's dealer warranty expires in April at which point I've got the facelift degas hose to go on to hopefully prevent any cooling issues down the line, and I plan regular oil changes with the correct spec to hopefully prolong the belt life. The only other change I made was to chuck a Sync 1.1 module in so I gain Siri functionality and track information over Bluetooth.

Hopefully I can impart knowledge gained by osmosis over the years!!

Cheers,

Nick
