Focus battery 68 reg

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a new car to me and the battery needs replacing. My question is if I replace it will the infotainment touch screen need a pin to reactivate or are the latest pin free?
on replacing the battery does it need programming, if so can this be done without obd2 reader? If yes can someone give instructions.

thanks Neil

No PIN needed.

Battery doesn't need coding and will work straight away but ideally you should reset the battery monitoring system (BMS).

How to reset the BMS method 2                                                                         Search Tag: BMS2

CAUTION: The reference at the beginning of the video saying that the BMS should be reset after charging the battery in incorrect.

The Battery Monitoring System (BMS) should only be reset if a new battery has been fitted.
