Coming up intermittently with Transmission limited consult handbook, the car then won’t pull and creeps along at 5mph. Stop car restart engine and goes ok. Has done it 3 times in the last 6 weeks, had a portable diagnostic put on gear box and engine and showing no fault, have been told I could be the gear box, and if so you can’t get reconditioned ones anymore so have to buy from Ford which will cost appprox £5000 without fitting it any ideas or anyone had this problem? Thanks

you should be able to get a gearbox refurbished try using google to find a local company to see if they can do a refurb for you
