I have a MK4 Mondeo 1.8Tdci 125 (BA7)

I have a problem with overheating. I’ve changed the water pump, thermostat, and coolant temperature sensor. The next thing I’m looking at is the EGR valve, but have noticed that the EGR cooler pipes to the heater matrix are not connected. I assume (and may be wrong that this is because of EGR delete by the previous owner) and these pipes now go somewhere else. What I’d like to know is how the pipes go back to the EGR cooler and the engine (a picture would really help)
