Hi everyone!

I just bought the Vgate Vlinker FS USB. In the Amazon page says that must be updated before first usage: 

>>If your car is a model before 2005 (including 2005), please download our latest version of the upgrade firmware.

>>Please download vLinker FS USB v2.2.78 version, or a newer version.

I found this page: https://community.cyanlabs.net/t/updating-firmware-and-initial-setup-vgate-vlinker-fs-in-forscan/5539 it have a tutorial a bit confusing for me.

It guided me to: https://www.vgatemall.com/downloadcenter

On it, I downloaded the file: vlinker_fs_v2.2.92.zip, it have the installer (which I have executed) and the upgrade application, that asks for the firmware file.

But I have a doubt: there is two files in the vgate download's page that seems to me Firmware:

- VgateFwUpdater_pl_v1.8
- VgateFwUpdater V1.8

I downloaded both, and if I rename as ZIP, there are files inside, same structure and filenames, but any text file that explains what is the difference... maybe someone know what mean the PL letters? which file I should use?

    Hi. Finally I solved my doubt.

    The Firmware it's a TXT inside the same ZIP file: vlinker_fs_v2.2.92.zip
    ...all I was need is inside: driver, firmware updater and firmware data

    The other downloads:

    - VgateFwUpdater_pl_v1.8
    - VgateFwUpdater V1.8

    Aren't related to this product.

    Hope this can help someone!
