MK2 issues...!

Featured Replies

Ive recently purchased a mk2 1.3tdci and working my way through the list of issues but need a little advice.

I had error 2081 so replaced the EGT sensor and cleared the code, started the car and it said it needed to do a DPF regen which it did and the rest of the day no further issues.

Today when I started the car (from cold) the damn light is back on and same fault code is back. I took it for a decent drive, cleared code and all seemed fine.

Left car a couple of hours and low and behold... its back 🙈🙈

Second thing is I have an oil leak, im 99% sure its the Crankshaft seal.

Anyone tell me whats involved in replacing it / what needs removed?

TIA 🙏🙏
