ok99
hello The radio connector outputs positive to all Speakers wires. I checked with a multimeter and all the wires are fine. It seems to be a problem with 6000cd. what do you think? What do you recommend I check? thx mondeo 2013

unofix
I'm not sure of the problem you have. Speakers do not have a positive and a negative in the normal sense of a 12 volt supply. I can see from your photo that your system has a 4 speaker output. Each twisted pair is one channel. You can't use a multimeter on DC volts to measure the output to the Speakers. The problem if you have no sound is likely to be the actual 6000CD unit.

Even if I put the wires upside down in one of the Speakers, the volume does not change

My own was replaced at a cost of £20, yours is a bit newer, probably £25+. Even as a diagnostic tool, it may be worth ponying up for one as a spare! Make sure it comes with the PIN... 1

Is there a way to check the unit? What voltage should I get from each channel?
unofix
1 hour ago, ok99 said: What voltage should I get from each channel? As I said earlier you can not measure the voltage to the Speakers with a multimeter. It is an alternating signal of only a few millivolts. If you want to check the audio output signal then you will need an oscilloscope and a x10 high impedance scope probe.

I imagine back then it was the size of a suitcase and had only one or if you were lucky two channels on a green CRT screen. Now they are only the size of a small loaf (brown or white 🤣) and usually have 4 or more channels on a full colour LCD display. I worked for a while in a calibration lab while I was an apprentice and learnt how to repair and calibrate the old models. Happy days !!!
