Hey guys don't know if any one can help. I'm looking to fit an aftermarket air filter but don't want to break the bank. has anyone found a pipe to fit the maf sensor on, seeing as the maf sensor pipe as stock is part of the air filter housing box. I know with universal aftermarket air filters they normally designed for the maf sensor to be further away from the air filter housing. i have found this pipe on ebay but not to convinced it'll fit the maf sensor. thanks for any help. i have a Mondeo mk3 st 2.2ltr tdci

    Hi Ory! I don't have any 1st hand experience, sorry, but as a fellow owner of a mk3 Mondeo, I've read many posts on the Talkford forum about using aftermarket airfilters and the conclusion has been they're not as affective as the original Ford one. However, if you're looking for advice, have you browsed on the ST forum for info in that area? 

    Dunno if you've done any research yet, but this might make an interesting read for starters...

    I don't think yours will use the 'rectangular' MAF.  Think it'll be the 'square' MAF which won't fit that pipe.  Takes literally 30 seconds to unscrew it on your car and have a look.
