Featured Replies

Hi I am buying a 2009 Kuga as 2.0 tdci titanium awd and I need it to tow a horse trailer I have looked online and it says it will tow 2100kg which is enough however just wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts/experience of towing with thses,  any advice would be great thanks

Just make sure the transfer box isn't leaking

thank you will do,  have you towed with one before, there is so much different information about,  it says it will tow 2100kg however looking at kerb weight would mean you are really looking at 1500kg, I am just getting really confused.  thanks

You need to see the actual weights on the Vehicle identification Plate, different models and trim levels don't all weight the same.

The maximum towing weight is the the 'Gross train weight' less the 'Gross vehicle weight'

See the Kuga owners handbook page 127 and 170 for details.
