Thadcroft
Hi everyone, So I’ve just topped up my brake fluid, and I’ve found a ‘Optima’ plastic tag that was just wedged under the bonnet. I did not pull it off anything etc, it was just wedged in there, like it had snapped off something? I’ve attached them below. Would anyone happen to know what this is? And is it something to worry about? Thanks.
unofix
It's a plastic spreader used for smoothing out filler when vehicles have bodywork repaired. https://www.optimasolution.co.uk/resources/product-catalogue-2021/ 2

TomsFocus
Don't think they're intended to be left wedged in the bonnet, even if it is listed as consumable.
Thadcroft
Thank you both. It was wedged down near the engine, god knows why it was there. Could suggest bodywork has been repaired, which hasn’t been noted on any MOT’s 🤔
TomsFocus
Probably has had a bodywork repair after a minor scrape. There's no reason that should show up on MOT history. 1
