Boot chimes sounding constantly

Featured Replies

Have had an ongoing problem with my 70 Kuga pretty much from the day I picked it up almost 2 years ago. The boot chimes (that are only supposed to sound when the boot is closing) will start to sound with no prior warning/dashboard message during driving. And then go on and off repeatedly during the journey! As well as that the boot behaves erratically at times, sometimes only opening a short way and other times opening by itself when you unlock the car. We’ve had it in the Ford garage multiple times but they’ve not been able to fix it. It’s very frustrating and distracting when driving! Any help or steer would be much appreciated as I’m at the end of my tether. Thanks.

Forscan can disable the boot chime .
