hiya guys just a quick question my alternator has packed up on my 1.8...would a alternator off a 2.0L fit a 1.8L???? thanks

as long as the connections on both alternators are the same i would not think it matters.

check that the amp rating is the same

current rating only makes a difference if it is below the system requirements which is unlikely with the 1.8 & 2.0.

just checked with autodata both cars should be BOSCH NC-90A.

so no problem.

however i only checked on 1998 Mondeo (if you could give me the years of both cars i could be more specific.
