IanJ0511
I bought my car 2 weeks ago. Noticed immediately I got it home only the drivers door would lock without using the key whereas all 4 doors should. Reading one of the Ford Forums I concluded this could be. a car battery issue and got booking into local Ford garage on Sept 1 I didn’t use the car for a week due to me waiting for hand controls to be fitted. These were done on Monday and that afternoon I had my first drive. Awesome. I fix sporox 40 miles came to go out Tuesday morning car dead no power doors wouldn’t open. Eventually using manual key got access Zero power. Called dealership and they instigated AA call out and the car was returned yo the garage where it still is here is my question. A new battery is required plus ms y tech updates which are chargeable. ( bring fine under warranty) Have others had to pay for essential upgrades ??? CJE
Surely, ALL should be under warranty?
TomsFocus
If it's a safety recall, there's no charge. If it's just a software update to remove a bug, that would be chargeable.
