Mondeo MK4 Estate Rear Quarter Chrome Trim Replacement

Hi,

Can anyone tell/show me how to refit the short chrome rear quarter trims on the Mondeo MK4 Estate? These are the ones that are below the glass only. 

I removed them to wrap them, can’t get them back on. There are 5 clips in total that fit inside the trim, but these clips have to be fitted to the rubber trim before pressing the chrome item on. As I’m pressing on rubber, there’s flex when pressing so the clips don’t pop in to place.
